11 April 2019 | On 4 April 2019, Maersk Supply Service signed a contract with Eniram, a W?rtsil? company, to install an Energy Advisory System on its vessels. The system will use high quality data to optimise operations and save fuel in real time, lowering the company’s carbon footprint and fuel costs for customers.
29 March 2019 | The A.P. Moller – Maersk Board of Directors has decided to retain full ownership of Maersk Supply Service.
11 March 2019 | Newbuild vessel, Maersk Involver, has been fixed for 161 days to support maintenance of the DAN F platform located offshore Esbjerg for walk-to-walk and accommodation services. The contract is expected to commence start-April 2019.
15 February 2019 | Maersk Maker, the final vessel of Maersk Supply Service’s Starfish AHTS newbuilding series, was delivered yesterday from Kleven Yard. The vessel’s arrival completes Maersk Supply Service’s Fleet Renewal Programme, with ten new-build vessels delivered and 23 vessels divested over the last three years.
9 January 2019 | Maersk Supply Service has been awarded a contract with Chevron Australia which will see two of its newbuild anchor handling tug supply vessels support the Chevron- operated Gorgon Stage Two drilling programme.
20 September 2018 | Last week, hook up of the Ailsa Floating Storage and Offloading unit (FSO) was successfully completed. This marks the final step of the FSO transportation and installation for the Culzean field, under the project management of Maersk Supply Service.
16 August 2018 | Maersk Supply Service will in the coming months provide marine support to The Ocean Cleanup, the Dutch non-profit that is developing advanced technologies to rid the oceans from plastic, and install their first cleanup system in the North Pacific. This moment will mark the start of the World’s first large-scale initiative for collection of floating ocean-plastic debris.
12 July 2018 | Maersk Supply Service has successfully completed the tow of a semi-submersible from Las Palmas to North-Western Australia. The tow was carried out by new-build Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessel Maersk Master of the Starfish series, whose energy efficient design minimised fuel casts during transit.
